Race Brief

Welcome to the 2026 MAAS Titan Macquarie Mud Run.

This year’s event starts and finishes at Regand Park, at the bottom of Tamworth Street, Dubbo. The Titan course covers approximately 9–10km around our beautiful Macquarie River and includes more than 20 obstacles designed to challenge, motivate and bring out the best in every participant.

Throughout the course you will see volunteers stationed at obstacles and key locations. They are there to guide you, explain obstacles if needed and ensure your safety. If you are ever unsure about what to do, simply ask.

Course Markings

Participants must follow the witches hats on course at all times.

Kids (Mini Titan) follow the witches hats marked in orange.
Adults and Youth (Titan & Elite) follow the witches hats marked with green contact.

Please stay on your designated course for safety reasons.

Water Obstacles & River Crossings

The Titan course includes water obstacles and river crossings. Water levels are monitored closely. Volunteers in kayaks will be present to assist if required, and flotation devices are available.

All Titan and Elite participants must be able to swim confidently.
If you are not comfortable in water, do not attempt the river crossings, speak to a volunteer and take the designated land option.

Obstacle Information

All obstacles are optional (unless you’re participating in the Elite Wave).

If you feel physically unprepared or uncomfortable attempting an obstacle, you may walk around it. Obstacles may involve climbing, crawling, sliding, carrying, lifting, rolling, holding and running.

We encourage teamwork. Help each other. Support each other. And don’t forget to give a loud “WHOOP WHOOP” to motivate those around you.

Safety & Support

We have a First Aid team located at Regand Park near the Registration Tent. If you feel unwell at any time, notify a volunteer immediately so assistance can be arranged.

There will be a water station on course, along with water bubbler located at Sir Roden Cutler Park.

Stay hydrated before, during and after the event.

Evacuation Points

In the unlikely event of evacuation, designated meeting points are:
• Lady Cutler Oval
• Sir Roden Cutler Park

Finish Line

When you cross the finish line, you’ll receive your finisher’s medal and a well-earned drink, beer for participants 18+ or a soft drink.

Stay and enjoy the atmosphere, food vendors and community celebration.

The Titan Macquarie Mud Run is a not-for-profit event. Every dollar raised goes straight back into local infrastructure and community projects that help keep Dubbo active, healthy and moving.

Thank you for being part of the 13th Titan Macquarie Mud Run.

Bring a buddy and let’s get muddy.
